+1 Wings For Eggs Anubis Quest: The 9 Crystals Behind Anubis Wings

Prerequisites
A session that can reach every biome the crystals spawn in
Checked

Anubis Wings are locked behind nine crystals, not behind a purchase. Open the Anubis Quest NPC in the SAFE ZONE, read the nine-cell grid, and keep the chat feed visible: that is where each crystal is announced, biome by biome, to whoever gets there first.

What the Quest Panel Asks For

The recorded session shows the whole request on one screen, so there is no hidden step to guess at:

  1. The NPC: it stands in the SAFE ZONE under the label [LIMITED] Anubis Quest!, and standing next to it offers [E] to open Anubis Crystal Quest.
  2. The panel: it is titled Crystal Event and prints its own instruction — Find all 9 crystals around the map to unlock the Anubis Wings!
  3. The reward: the reward tile is a golden wing named Anubis Wings and it carries a Limited! tag.
  4. The progress grid: nine cells, one per crystal, with the collected ones lit and the missing one left as a dark outline with a question mark.
  5. The button: a green Claim button sits under the grid and stays pressable before the grid is full.

The same recording pressed Claim at 8 of 9 and the game answered on screen: You need all 9 crystals -- you have 8! So the button is not a shortcut around the missing crystal.

How a Crystal Is Announced

Crystals are not sold and not listed on a map in the panel. They arrive, and the server says so in the chat feed. The session captured two of those messages:

  • [CRYSTAL] The Forest crystal has appeared! - first one there keeps it
  • [CRYSTAL] The Void crystal has appeared! - first one there keeps it

Read the line carefully before you plan a route: it names the biome, and it says the first player there keeps it. The commentary in the same recording reads that as one crystal per server per announcement, and that reading is a player's description of what he saw, not a rule the developer published. Treat the chat feed as the alarm and the biome name as the destination.

Why an 8 of 9 Panel Is Refused

Eight lit cells look finished and are not. The refused message above is the game's own wording, and the panel keeps the missing cell as a question mark rather than naming it. In this recording the player held 8 of 9 and the recorder could only guess at the last biome out loud, naming Cloudlands, Deep Ocean and Ancient Egypt in turn. If your own panel has one gap, the chat feed is the only place that names the next crystal, so keep it open while you fly.

What the Recorded Sessions Do Not Show

  • Crystal spawn points and timing: neither session shows a crystal being picked up, so nothing here says whether spawns are fixed or random, or how long the wait between announcements is.
  • Saved progress: the 8 of 9 panel is one player's session on one server. Nothing observed says whether collected crystals follow you to another server or another day.
  • How long Limited lasts: the tag is visible, the deadline is not. No countdown appears next to it in the recording.
  • Which biome owns the last crystal: the panel does not name biomes, and the recorder's list was spoken, so this page does not repeat it as a fact.
  • Anubis Wings stats: the reward tile shows a name and a tag. It does not show a stamina multiplier, and no session here equips it, so nothing on this page quotes a number for it.

The Trip Itself

A crystal hunt is a long flight, and the same recordings show what ends one early: the stamina bar drains while you glide, and dropping into lava ends the trip with You fell in the lava! and a respawn at the SAFE ZONE. Both sessions show the same recovery, so budget stamina before distance and treat a death as lost time rather than a lost crystal. The flight, steal and hatch loop those trips are built on is covered in the beginner guide, and the stamina side of it belongs with the wings page.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you get Anubis Wings in +1 Wings For Eggs?

Find all 9 crystals the Crystal Event panel lists, then claim the reward at the Anubis Quest NPC in the SAFE ZONE.

Why does the Claim button say I need all 9 crystals?

Because the game counts the grid, not your intent. The recorded session was refused at 8 of 9 with the message You need all 9 crystals -- you have 8!

Where do the crystals spawn?

The panel does not name biome locations. The chat feed announces each crystal with its biome when it appears, and the running sessions in this project never captured one being collected, so no location list is published here.

Is the Anubis quest still available?

The panel carries a Limited! tag, and the recorded session does not show a closing date. Check the NPC's own panel and the dated update windows before spending a long flight on it.
